Excellent hotel in a nice traditional style building. Incredibly kind personnel, spacious rooms with soap, an extra blanket, iron. A wide array of options, outstanding food. Location great, easy walk to a tram station. Great restaurant a 10-15 minute walking distance from the property.

Convenient Location: This place is super close to the S-Bahn tram station, plus you can easily reach the forests and tram stop. 🚋 Not to mention, it's a stone's throw away from the Grunwald Castle.

The small hotel had everything we needed. The room had satellite television, central heating, and an individual safe. The bathroom with bathtubs was excellent.

We were greeted by a very friendly receptionist who helped us with our many questions regarding getting to and from Munich by train. The room was very nice, modern and clean and the building itself is very pretty. We loved only having a short walk to the Tram station to get into Munich. They have a restaurant, but we thought it was a bit pricey for the small meal we were wanting that evening, so it was a short walk to the town to eat. Our breakfasts both mornings were very good!
If you cannot walk up and down steps, this may not be the place for you. We were on the 3rd floor and my husband had to carry the luggage up a winding staircase, through a glass door and up another turned staircase, down a hall and then through another door, up a bit steeper staircase and through a very tight door at the top of that staircase. We did laugh, but thank heavens we were fit enough to do this. Had to help an elderly woman down the steps with her luggage at one point, so please just be aware.

The hotel is in a beautiful remote location on the outskirts of Munich, by good public transport and the forest. My room came with a safe, TV set, and a mini bar fridge. - the views from the window were excellent. - Away from the hustle and bustle, so it was nice and quiet at the hotel.

The hotel's restaurant, with its traditional tiled oven, creates a cozy and inviting atmosphere. While dining on the panoramic terrace, I felt like I was in a scene straight out of a fairytale. The old chestnut trees and stunning views added an enchanting touch to my culinary experience.
Outdated outdoor space.

Great value for money with spacious rooms and comfortable beds. The location is perfect, right next to Grunwald castle and with easy access to the city center. The staff, who happen to be Italian, provided friendly and hassle-free service. The Italian food at the hotel was excellent as well.
Breakfast selection could've been improved with more variety or options.

Our stay at Schlosshotel was delightful. The location, situated near the beautiful Isar Valley, provided a peaceful and picturesque setting for our vacation. The interior of the hotel was attractively designed, and the room itself was tastefully furnished to a high standard. The breakfast offered a good selection of food to start our day. We also enjoyed the convenience of being close to public transportation, with a short walk to the tram that took us into Munich. we would recommend this hotel for a restful and enjoyable stay.

I recently stayed at Schlosshotel in Grunwald and it was a truly unique experience. The hotel exudes charm, housed in a historical building, and the Italian staff provided friendly and casual service. The highlight was the delicious Italian food at the hotel's restaurant, which was executed perfectly. The view from the restaurant was stunning, overlooking the river Isar and forests. Additionally, the breakfast, especially the coffee, was excellent. The entire stay was a nice and memorable experience.
Would be happy to recommend this hotel.
